Artisanal

A spirit of the mountains

Raicilla made from wild agave, roasted in stone ovens and distilled in copper stills. A complex profile: earthy notes, fresh herbs, citrus, and a mineral touch that only the sierra can give.

  • Wild agave from the mountains of Jalisco
  • Artisanal distillation in small batches
  • No additives, no industrial processes

Perfect for sipping neat, over ice, or in the classic raicilla sour.

Our approach

From wild agave to the bottle

We work directly with small producers in the mountains of Jalisco who grow and distill raicilla the way it has been done for generations. Every batch is unique — a reflection of the volcanic soil, the high-altitude climate, and the hand of its master distiller.

Sierra Verde Imports doesn't buy in industrial volume: we seek out limited, full-of-character batches to bring you the best of this ancestral tradition in the United States.
